Istanbul. Part 2.

.

I decided on a visual revisit of Istanbul here for the simple reason that it would have been near blasphemy to not show this glorious city in its signature palette; hence this preview of some more images from my book* on the Turkish capital.

Like many other great cities, History, Detail, Texture and Age juxtaposed with modernity are the hallmarks of Istanbul as well… except for one difference, that this is the only city in the world which is divided between 2 continents, Asia and Europe. The resultant diversity notwithstanding, and knowing that these images are too few to do justice to the cultural potpourri that Istanbul is, it would also have been grossly unfair to not capture this fascinating city in the very hues that enrich it and all those who visit it.

*Istanbul: The little book of memories is the first of a series of books based on my travel memoirs and consists of images made by me using my smartphone camera.
